Hello and welcome to G5. My name is James McGeachy and I am the tutor of G5. Every morning I am greeted by Griffins from all ages in our L6 tutor base. We have a fairly relaxed tutor group who is proud of our friendly atmosphere. Everyone feels welcome in our group and students are not only encouraged, but actively interact with students from other year groups. I feel this makes our morning and afternoon registration periods an essential part of every school day. G5 actively contributes in school and house life with outstanding individual efforts from all year levels. Some students participate regularly in the many sporting opportunities that this school affords; others have more creative or academic successes. No matter what interests you have, there is always room to pursue them in Griffin house. We have a range of students that represent the student body in positions of leadership as prefects, house captains and committee members. This really shows a sense of responsibility and ownership that the students in G5 feel for both Griffin house and Passmores and I am continually astounded by the attitude and achievements of my students. As a tutor, I am always open to any questions that you may have and will always make time to talk to you about your child’s progress in Griffin.
