Hello and welcome to Lion 5, one of the 9 Lion tutor groups roaring and raring to go!
My name is Kirsty Marjoribanks and I am a Technology teacher entering my third year of teaching at Passmores.
It was with great pride that in only my first year as a tutor, Lion 5 contributed to the amazing success of being the winning house last year!
Now, as I enter my second year as form tutor, it is important that my tutees continue to build on this success through being the best they can be; being punctual and in correct uniform, having correct equipment and being respectful to others, to name but a few.
Pupils work together closely in form time across all five year groups exploring Thought For The Week Topics, completing peer mentoring activities and tutor challenges.
Form time is also a very important place for pupils to make new friends and I am very proud of the strong bonds already formed in Lion 5, across all year groups. The support and encouragement I witness on many occasions is one of the many rewarding parts of being a form tutor.
As we enter a new academic year I would like to offer a warm welcome to all of Lion 5’s new Year 7 Lion tutees, I am expecting great things!
