U5MNN

Photo of Mr Norton, tutor of U5MNNMy name is Michael Norton and I am the proud form leader of Unicorn 5. This is my third year at Passmores School and I am originally from Sarnia, Ontario, Canada.

Much like Mr. Dumayne, I am very competitive and I want the pupils and staff in my House to always try their best and "strive to the highest point."

I absolutely love the amount of competitions that take place throughout the year and I lead both the poetry competition and the spelling bee. It would be really encouraging to see Unicorn win the illustrious title of ‘Spelling Champions’ this year, as we have not always been successful in the past. I also look forward to the end of the year Sports Day competition and the staff tug-of-war!

I have recently been appointed the Head of Media Studies and I am also an English teacher. I will be based in L7 all year. If students have any problems, worries or concerns they can come and see me before school, after school or during their breaks. As a tutor, I should always be the first port of call for my tutees. Likewise, if parents have any worries or concerns please contact me in school to arrange a meeting or email me.

My responsibility is to ensure that our students/your children receive the best possible care and attention that I can give. I hope that we all achieve a high level of success and I look forward to another great year at Passmores.
